General information

Lesson duration: 1 hour / 60 minutes (including 10 minutes for warm-up and/or free tennis). These 10 minutes are ‘break’ time for the tennis instructor.

Rates: The rates are included on the registration form and include, VAT, use of tennis balls, tennis courts, ball machine and other materials. Tuition must be paid within 14 days of receipt of the invoice. In general, registration is binding from the moment you subscribe but of course we will refund you if we are unable to offer you a tennis lesson at the scheduled time and/or in an appropriate group.

Registration & Cancellation Policy: Upon registering for a course with Tennis School De Heiberg, you enter into a legally binding contract and agree and accept our general terms and conditions and the rates for the training, as published on the registration form.

The full course fee is payable in advance.  If you have to cancel, we will refund you the full cost provided you inform us at least 14 days prior to the scheduled start of the course. The notice of cancellation must be in writing and received by the school by the cancellation deadline for it to be effective.

If you are unable to continue with your course part way through we will not be able to issue refunds but will consider exceptional circumstances.

If a session has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances then either another session will be offered or a refund.

We will not be able to offer refunds due to absences, although if there are exceptional circumstances please let us know and we will be pleased to consider this.

Timetable: Approximately one week before the course you will be notified by e-mail or telephone of the timetable and groups. We do our best to try to take account of each players level of ability, availability and any other requirements. We may also make some changes during the course to make sure everyone receives the best training possible.  If you will be absent for any reason, please notify the trainer as early as possible so that they can take account of this with the planning. A no show without notice is disruptive to both the trainer and the other participants.

Commencement of the lesson: The trainers strive to start classes on time. Tardiness hinders the trainer and the class so please arrive a little early so we can start the class on time. If you are late for any reason, it is at the trainers discretion whether you can participate in the class.  Being late on a regular basis may result in you being excluded from the rest of the course.

Clothes: Everyone who participates in the training is required to wear tennis clothes. So no football shirts etc. It is also important that you have proper tennis footwear suitable for the indoor or outdoor court (as applicable). If you have any doubts about whether your footwear is suitable please ask us in advance to avoid any misunderstanding on the day of the course.

Registration: Anyone who wants to follow tennis training is welcome to enroll at Tennis School Heiberg.  There is a separate registration process for the Summer and Winter Courses (for further information see the relevant section of this website).

Insurance: We hope that you will not encounter any difficulties during your training session at Tennis School Heiberg but please note that participation is at your own risk.  The tennis trainer(s) and Tennis Training Heiberg shall not be held responsible for any injury which may arise during tennis training. If you are not able to attend some classes (eg. because of injuries) tuition fees will not be returned. We will endeavor however to offer you a replacement class at the same level.
Questions? After the lessons there is always the opportunity to discuss something briefly with the trainer. In the event that more time is needed, please make an appointment with the trainer.
